Biography

Momina Duraid is known as a Pakistani famous director and producer. She has her own production company named “MD Production” and plays a great role on Hum TV. She had produced a great amount of drama series including “Zindagi Gulzar Hai”, “Shehr-e-Zaat”, “Humsafar”, “Qaid-e-Tanhai”, and many other drama series. 

In 2015, she co-directed the first film “Bin-Roye”. After some years, she got “Hum Films”, a film production house. In 2015, her name is added to the “Pond’s list”, a list of having Miracle Journey.  

Family & Marriage

She is married to Duraid Qureshi and became the daughter-in-law of Sultana Siddiqui, who was the founder and President of Hum Network. 

Early Career

In her early career, she was working as a marketing executive at a bank. According to Momina, media was the last thing to do in her life. As her mother-in-law was in media, in the beginning, she just looks after the finance department. Her first ever project was Samira Afzal’s drama serial “Mere Paas Paas”, which gave her much praise. 

Films (Hum Films)

Bin Roye

In 2015, she directed the first Pakistani film “Bin Roye” in Hum’s house of production. After the release of this film, Hum Films produced more than fifteen films in both national and international. 

Superstar

In 2019, she directed another Pakistani hit film “Superstar” in the same house of Production. 

Television (MD Production)

Man-o-Salwa

She directed her first drama serial in Urdu “Man-o-Salwa” in 2007 which was aired on Hum TV. An interesting drama story of a strong girl who starts her acting career to show her personality to his fiancy who left her for the sake of money. But sadly, in the end, she suicides.

Malaal

In 2009, she directed the Pakistan television drama series “Malaal” which was aired on Hum TV.

Dastaan

In 2010, she directed a drama serial “Dastaan”, which was based on the novel “Bano” by Razia Butt. Fawad Khan and Sanam Baloch as Bano were featured in this drama serial. 

Qaid-e-Tahai

She produced this drama serial in 2010-2011. This drama serial was written by Umera Ahmed and aired on Hum TV. 

Mera Naseeb

In 2011, she produced another drama serial “Mera Naseeb” which was aired on Hum TV. 

Humsafar

After the rejection from two production houses, Momina convinced Farhat Ishtiaq to convert the “Humsafar” novel into drama series. This job was done by the MD Production in 2011 when “Humsafar” was released and gained so many positive reviews from the audience. After this drama serial, Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan became the most recognized and popular start of the Pakistan drama and film industry. 

Shehr-e-Zaat

In 2012, this romantic drama serial was also produced in the MD Production. 

Zindagi Gulzar Hai

In 2012-2013, “Zindagi Gulzar Hai”, a famous and most popular drama serial was produced by Momina Duraid and was aired on Hum TV. 

Kankar

In 2013, “Kankar” drama serial was aired on Hum TV and produced by Momina Duraid in MD Production. 

Dil-e-Muntazir

In 2013, this drama was also the production of MD Production and aired on Hum TV. The story of the drama serial was based on a triangle love story of one man and two women. 

Behadd

In 2013, “Behadd” drama serial written by Umera Ahmad was produced by Momina Duraid.

Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai

In 2013-2014, the Pakistani romantic drama serial, “Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai” was greatly produced by “MD Production”.

Digest Writer

In 2014, Umera Ahmad’s written drama serial “Digest Writer” was produced by Momina Duraid and attained much attention and praise. 

Alvida

“Alvida” drama serial was aired on Hum TV in 2015. It was a romantic Pakistani drama serial directed by Shehzad Kashmiri. 

Diyar-e-Dil

In 2015, this hit drama serial was aired on Hum TV and comprise only 33 episodes. It was also the MD Production.

Momina Duraid produced this drama serial for Hum TV through MD Production. It was aired in 2017 and gained much love and attention.

This family comedy-drama serial was aired on Hum TV in 2018. This was a Ramadan special drama serial produced by Momina Duraid. It gained so much love, popularity, and hit drama serial. A blockbuster drama serial that makes the audience happy and still increases its millions of views.

Deewar-e-Shab

This was a historical drama serial that was beautifully produced by Momina Duraid through MD Production and aired on Hum TV in 2019. 

Qarar

This drama serial was written by Aliya Bukhari and greatly produced by Momina Duraid. It was also aired on Hum TV in 2020. The story of arrogant woman who show ego and disturb her own life.

Mohabbatein Chahatein

This was another production of Momina Duraid for Hum TV. This drama serial was aired in 2020 on Hum TV. A story of a psycho girl who wants to grab the attention of a married man. The whole story sticks around three characters, a married man, a wife, and a psycho girl.

Chupke Chupke

In 2021, this romantic drama serial was directed by Danish Nawaz and produced by Momina Duraid. This was a Ramadan special drama serial that aired on Hum TV and gained so much love. Till now this drama serial has gain million of views and is still increasing.
