About the Drama “Ehd-e-Wafa.”

Momina Duraid and Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) under MD Productions created the Pakistani television program Ehd-e-Wafa. Hum TV, PTV Home, and the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) channel broadcasted the series from September 22, 2019, to March 15, 2020. The series, which is based on a script by Mustafa Afridi, is directed by Saife Hassan. 

The tale focuses on four school friends with disparate dreams, hopes, and objectives, and how setbacks, roadblocks, and betrayals in their friendships and professions alter their lives. In addition to being a critical and commercial success, the show enjoyed positive reviews in Pakistan, the UK, and India. Regarding searches, it came in third.

Drama Story

A television series about four friends who left high school and entered the workforce: Wahaj Ali, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Osman Khalid Butt, and Ahad Raza Mir. As they grow older, fall in love, and ultimately choose to give their lives in defense of their country, they make mistakes. Saad’s father, army captain Faraz Inam (later Major General), and sister Rahmeen, an aspiring artist, are his family members.

With his grandfather, Malik Allahyar as his closest relative, Shahzain hails from a prosperous village background. Shariq’s family consists of his widowed mother and sister Ghazala. Dad of Shehryar plays in a band.

Drama cast

Wahaj Ali, the main character, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Osman Khalid Butt, Ahad Raza Mir, and other male leads made up the cast. One of the key roles, that of Rani, went to Zara Noor Abbas. Alizeh Shah was chosen to portray Duaa’s other female lead. Her recent notable roles in the Channel hits Baandi, Daldal, and Jo Tu Chahey have made her well-known. Model Vaneeza Ahmed and PTV actor Faraz Inam Siddiqui were selected to play Saad’s parents. In the 1980s, Siddiqui also starred in Alpha Bravo Charlie, an ISPR production that writer Mustafa Afridi subsequently denied was the original Ehd-e-Wafa series. Momina Iqbal and Hajra Yamin were selected to portray Masooma and Ramsha, the parallel female leads, respectively.
