Nazish Jahangir speak about Aurat March
Pakistani actress Nazish Jahangir attributed the rising divorce rate to the Aurat March and the movement for women’s rights. Let’s have a Look:
Pakistani TV actress Nazish Jahangir has played the role of Zoya in ‘Thays’, Faiza in ‘Tohmat’, Nimra in ‘Kam Zarf’, and Shameela in ‘Kahin Deep Jaley’, all of which brought her fame. At the Lux Style Awards, Jahangir is up for Best Emerging Talent in Television.
On a channel, Nazish Jahangir said that even today I stand by my word that every crying woman is not valid, we need to work on gender discrimination to reduce societal misbehavior.
She said that the same mother has a son and a daughter, and we have to save not only the girl but also the boy, not that I am not with the woman but if my brother or any man is raped, I will also stand there.
Nazish Jahangir said that I prefer to stand with the truth only after knowing the position of both sides because I don’t believe in feminism based on injustice and think that women marching on the street is not feminism either. There will be no difference in what happens to women.
She said that these things do not even reach the women who have problems, they will be sitting in a village cooking food even today, the women who take out marches (especially Aurat March) and I know everything about their rights.
Nazish Jahangir said that since this (Aurat March) behavior or trend, divorce, and divorce rates have increased to a great extent, I may be wrong but this is my observation.
