Nazia Hassan earned her Graduate degree from the American International University (Richmond) London. She completed her graduation from Richmond in Economics. She is also a lawyer and earned her law degree from Landon during her successful career in music.

Marriage of Nazia Hassan

Nazia Hassan married Mirza Ishtiaq Baig on March 30, 1995. Mirza Ishtiaq Baig was a Pakistani Businessman. This was an arranged marriage between Nazia Hassan and Ishtiaq Baig. After some time of her marriage, Nazia Hassan faced a critical situation in her life. There were a lot of complications in marriage life she faced every moment. According to Islamic law, she decided to get divorced.

She was finally Divorced by Mirza Ishtiaq Baig three months after her death. Before her death, she accused her ex-husband of physical abuse and poisoning her while giving testimony to UK High Court. Death Reason of Nazia Hassan

It is said that Queen of Pop Nazia Hassan was died due to Lung Cancer at the age of 35 in Landon on August 13, 2000. Three days before death her condition was severe and she had been admitted to the North London Hospital. The day before she died she was feeling mild recovery from the severe condition and also feeling well. Doctors thought that she will be able to go home but this day was not in her favor.

She was coughing severely roundabout at 9:15 AM and called her mother Muniza to the hospital. Unfortunately, she was died after severe coughing within a minute due to pulmonary embolism. Nazia Hassan was buried at Hendon Cemetery (Muslin Section) on September 5, 2000, in London. It is said that Nazia Hassan was died as an unhappy person as like in pain. During an interview with express tribune, her brother Zoheb Hassan said this one.

Pop Singing Career

Nazia Hassan along with his brother Zoheb Hassan broke the records of over a 65million worldwide in the 1980s. Nazia Hassan made her singing career in 1980 in the Indian film Qurbani with the song title ‘’Ap Jaisa Koi’’. She won the FILMFARE Award due to best playback performance or singing at the age of 15. She was admired for her songs and was the youngest, as well as first Pakistani female, was awarded to do so. She is still the youngest recipient of the award to this day.

The reason for Nazia Hassan’s fame was her album ‘’Disco Diwane’’ which was published in 1981. This album was charted in 14 different countries around the world and at that time this was the best-selling Asian album. The English language track of this song ‘’Disco Diwane’’ from the album made her the first Pakistani singer chart in the UK. She started her singing career at the age of 10 years.

During the 1970s on PTV, Nazia Hassan was a fantastic singer who started her singing career as a child artist. After that, she was started her professional career in singing by singing a popular Bollywood song ‘’Ap Jaisa Koi’’ in the 1980s.

The copies of this album were more sold in India and Pakistan at that time. Her second album ‘’Boom Boom’’ was released in 1982, and was featured in the Bollywood film ‘’star’’.
