Thousands of singers and musicians from America and different regions of the world have called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

Pakistani Emmy Award-winning singer Urooj Aftab is among the signatories of the letter written to demand a ceasefire.

The text of the letter states that the singer and musician have stood up for life, love, justice, and peace and want an immediate ceasefire.
Israel has demanded to end the siege of Gaza so that the people living there can live freely and get the necessities of life.

The letter also demanded that Israel end its 75-year occupation of Palestine and not stand in the way of an independent Palestine.
