Bollywood megastar Shahrukh Khan’s Dunki lags behind his two other blockbusters ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathan’ after opening day earnings. Let’s have a look:

The year 2023 proved to be the best year of career for Shah Rukh Khan, two films of the megastar ‘Pathan’ and ‘Jawan’ proved to be blockbusters, after which his third film ‘Dinky’ was also been released on December 21.

Before the release of ‘Dinky’, it was said that this film would also hit the box office like Shah Rukh Khan’s other two super hit films ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathan’, but the first-day earnings of Shahrukh Khan’s Dunki. The Hopes of Khan and his fans were dashed.

According to Indian media, Shahrukh Khan’s Dunki made a business of Rs 30 crores on the first day of its release, before ‘Dinky’ Shahrukh Khan’s two other films were released, his film ‘Pathan’ earned Rs 57 crores on the first day while ‘Jawan’ collected 89.5 crores on its first day of release.

Compared to the opening day of these two films, ‘Dunki’ has proved to be the lowest-grossing film of Shah Rukh Khan on the opening day of 2023.

It should be noted that the film ‘Dinky’, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, was produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan, while apart from Shah Rukh Khan, other actors including Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani have played important roles in this film.

The story of Shahrukh Khan’s Dunki revolves around four friends who travel abroad illegally, ‘Dinky’ is a story of love and friendship presented to people with emotional story and comedy scenes.
