The Lahore Corps Commander House (also known as Jinnah House), which was burned down on May 9, 2023, during a demonstration against the incarceration of former prime minister Imran Khan.

On this occasion, the artist community said that this attack was not on Jinnah House, but on the aorta of Pakistan. The artists’ community and civil society members lit candles and said they were ashamed that we could not save their house from the miscreants.

The artist community made it clear that if we have Pakistan then we are there, if not Pakistan then we are nothing, Pakistan is first for us.

The artists said that the incident should be investigated, and the day of May 9 will be remembered as a black day, while in this situation, Pakistan forces set a high example by showing patience.
