Actress Shaheera Jalil has said that despite selecting Pakistani actors for the Turkish drama Salahuddin Ayubi, the work was not given.

Actress Shahira Jalil claimed in an interview that 6000 Pakistani actors were interviewed for the Turkish drama Salahuddin Ayubi, which was jointly produced by private production houses of Pakistan and Turkey, out of which 60 were selected.

Actress Shaheera Jalil further said that along with her, Ayesha Umar, Ashna Shah, Alizeh Shah, and Arsalan Naseer, other big actors were given golden tickets, but none of the actors were called for the work.

The actress said that she was happy to be cast with senior actors and a WhatsApp group was also created for the selected actors, but unfortunately, she was not told till now what happened to the Pakistani actors with golden tickets. Not including a Pakistani actor in Salahuddin Ayyubi is a loss for Pakistan. Even in the trailer of the drama, no Pakistani was shown.
