About the Drama Sang-e-Mah

Sang-e-Mah tells the tale of a family that originates in Pakistan’s tribal areas. The play will show how people are forced to give up their lives and the people they love due to a false tradition. The show centers on the mysteries that surface when young Hilmand chooses to exact revenge on those who killed his father. Along with discussing interreligious harmony, it focuses on how women are oppressed in tribal areas through the practice of “ghag.”

Drama cast

In addition to Kubra Khan, Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz, and Hania Aamir in supporting roles, the ensemble cast includes Nauman Ijaz, Atif Aslam, Sania Saeed, Samiya Mumtaz, and Omair Rana. Aslam, who sang the series’ soundtrack and portrayed Hilmand Khan, is making her acting debut on television with this role.
