Story of the movie
A devout family guy, Michael Newman (Sandler) needs to win over his employer to advance in his career. He wishes he had a remote control to take charge of his life since he gets to spend less time with his family. This eventually comes to pass when he meets Morty (Walken), a crazed salesman with the ultimate remote that allows him to do anything, including dubbing his own life, skipping, and muting audio. For Michael, this is the chance to not only bypass all the arguments but also to jump straight to the promotion. Until the remote control malfunctions terribly, he thinks this is a great idea. Adam Sandler
Stanley Alan Sandler, an electrical engineer, and Judith (Levine), a nursery school teacher, He is a Jew by origin from Russia. He entered the stage on his initiative in a Boston comedy club. He discovered he was born a comedian. He landed a recurring part on The Cosby Show (1984) as Smitty, the friend of the Huxtable family, during his freshman year.
