The Outpost is based on a non-fiction book from 2012. The movie is directed by Rod Lurie. The movie is about the story of Jake Tapper who was in the Battle of Kamdesh in Afghanistan. The movie was first named PRT Kamdesh but later it was renamed Combat Outpost Keating. The US Army was settled in Afghanistan near the Hindu Kush mountain range.

Now CPT Broward has taken charge and disclosed the impending closure of the base.  The stressful situation arose when  Romesha clashed with Broward for leadership. And the base was attacked at night time by the enemies who were loaded with advanced equipment. The Broward thickness added tension to the situation. Now the Afghan Taliban leader intensified the situation by leading to a postponed closure.

Now they, Paul, Otis, Eddie, and Melvin are back together in Ho Chi Minh City They all come to know that during a landslide the tail of the plane is exposed, and knowing this hit upon a plan in their mind to retrieve their hidden gold and Norman’s body near the crashed plane site. Otis comes to know that he is going to be a father soon after connecting with his Vietnamese girlfriend. The Bloods plan to smuggle all the gold with the aid of Paul’s son Davis and a French businessman named Desroche. They started searching for gold with the help of a local guide and encountered many troubles.

Finally, they found the body of Norman and all the gold. Eddie reminds them of the plan to help their black community in the US. Tragedy hits when Eddie steps on a landmine and dies. The group faces many challenges.  As the bloodshed, Paul has a vision of Norman to save their black community. Paul was tragically identified by Desroches’ men and killed. The remaining Bloods including Vinh, Hedy, and Simon confront Desroches’ men. There Melvin saves Otis and David by sacrificing himself. And David kills Desroche.  In the last the survivors divide the Gold they return to their loved ones and the Black Lives Matter and LAMB.

General Dag secretly informs O’Brien that the situation might lead to a big war and instructs him to take serious action.

At that time Commandant Pat Quinlan led a group of peacekeeping missions to the United Nations compound near Jadotville. There Quinolin attacks and Pat orders his men to dig canals for protection. Quinolone meets French Mercenary, Rene Faulques during his visit to a neighboring town. who was hired by the mining companies supporting Tshombe’s government.  He also learns that Jaditville is the richest in uranium deposits.

O’Brien ordered an attack on Government buildings in Elizabethville. A radio operator was killed during this attack but He tried to cover it up. In vindication, Faulques attacked Jadotville.  Ireland was attacked by Katangese and mercenaries but Quinlan refused to surrender. The Irish defended themselves by killing their enemies despite their struggles the Irish ran out of reserves and eventually surrendered
