Singer Arif Lohar was honored with the Lifetime Cultural Award

A colorful awards ceremony organized by Asian Cultural Association of Pakistan and Lahore Arts Council was held at Alhamra Hall One Mall Road.
This prestigious event was organized by Secretary General Asian Cultural Association of Pakistan Syed Sohail Bukhari.
On this occasion, where personalities belonging to different walks of life were honored with awards, renowned singer Arif Lohar and the versatile group graced the occasion with their magnificent performance.
While the artists captivated everyone’s hearts with the lively performance of the artists, a large number of participants also seemed to be swaying.
Parvez Mehdi’s disciple Tahir Parvez Mehdi and his fellow artistes enthralled the audience with a performance of Qawwali, while renowned comedian Ghaffar Lehri’s comedy performance was also highly appreciated.
During the ceremony, singers Saira Tahir, Malika, Kinzi Butt and Babar Anjum created the magic of sound and received a standing ovation from the audience.
The chief guest of the event was Punjab Provincial Health Minister Prof. Dr. Javed Akram who distributed awards to the artists along with Director Al-Humra Muhammad Salim Sagar and Sohail Bukhari.
Eminent film director Safdar Malik and singer Arif Lohar were honored with Lifetime Achievement Award, prominent fashion designer BG, Agha Qaiser Abbas, Iftikhar Thakur, Tahir Parvez Mehdi, Riaz Khan were also honored with Asian Awards.
On this occasion, Syed Sohail Bukhari, Secretary General of the Asian Cultural Association of Pakistan, said that since the last forty-one years, he has been trying to promote culture, with the help of artists, musicians, etc. The personalities are honored with awards.
